Installing a racing (off road use only) steering wheel & horn

DISCLAIMER & WARNING!!! MUST READ: Working on or near the Safety Restrain System (SRS) or Airbags can be very dangerous which can result from severe injuries or death. Only a professional licensed mechanic should work on or near an SRS system. The notes and pictures on this site are for reference only. The SRS system should always be professionally disabled prior to any work on or near the SRS system and airbags. My air bags were both already deployed from the accident so I won’t be giving instructions on how to disable the SRS system. Consult a professional mechanic for SRS disabling.

Above: Here’s the stock steering wheel with the deployed air bag. To remove the deployed airbag remove the bolt cover on the column cover on the left side. You’ll need a star headed bit.
Below: Remove the below panel under the steering wheel cover by removing two phillips head screws. Next disconnect the yellow SRS connector pictured below.
