Autocross in Salem Oregon on 06/20/04

06/20/04 - Ok here I am ready to race my firs Autocross. My goals were simple that day. Try not to hit any cones and don’t get lost on the track.

This is the first autocross test after the restoration of my 1995 Accord EX JDM H22A (4cyl) Sedan 5sp Manual Transmission with Quaife Limited Slip Differential. apx 176WHP at race time.

Place: McKay Highschool parking lot with the “
WMCLUB.” from about 9:00AM to 12:00PM. Apx. Temps. F.=80’s
I ran 4 times and got quite the workout on my arms since I don’t have power steering. Also, the track is so tight and short that I would smoked pretty much eveyone if I ran a go-cart instead of a 3K lb sedan ;oP Then again I’m a novice driver so that played a big part in my slower time results. LOL

RESULTS: Car # 409:
My best time was: 0:50.059 Overall, I placed 60th out of 69 cars and in the Novice class I placed 4th out of 7th.
Below is a chart just for the Novice drivers and placement is for best run.
