This is page will host all of my drag strip results for the 95 Accord H22A.

03/20/04 First dragstrip test after the restoration of my 1995 Accord EX JDM H22A (4cyl) Sedan 5sp Manual Transmission (non Limited Slip Differential - Oh how I wish I had an LSD tranny - spin city off the line = slower drag times!).

Woodburn, OR Dragstrip from 10:00AM to 11:30AM. Temp. F.=66, Relative Humidity=0, Absolute Barometer=31.71
I only ran twice as I didn’t have much time that day and there were a lot of cars there waiting to test and tune.

RESULTS: (Both time slips were almost identical so here’s the best of the two.
Car # 4228: R/T = .425, 60’ = 2.381, 330 = 6.391, 1/8 = 9.674 @ 75.58MPH, 1000' = 12.58, 1/4 = 14.871 @ 94.45MPH

WHEELS: 15” 4-lug factory alloy wheels, 195/65/R15 Bridgestone Potenza RE950’s. WEIGHT=32lbs Height 23.5” Width 7.0”

WEIGHT REDUCTION METHODS: (Subway diet - just kidding)
Temporarily removed the following: (note all of the temporary stuff only took about 20 minutes to uninstall)
Passenger seat (manual & leather) = 40lbs, back seat upper = 24lbs, back seat lower = 14lbs, trunk floor cover = 8lbs, Four floor mats = 10 lbs, Spare Tire (60psi) = 23lbs), spare tire jack = 5 lbs.
Total temporary weight reduction = 124lbs.
Permanently removed the following:
1. Replaced missing stock hood with TSUDO single sided Carbon Fiber hood. I’ve heard that stock hoods are near 50lbs
and the CF hood is about 15lbs. This isn’t verified but sounds about right. Weight saved = 35lbs.
2. Power Steering pump was missing when I bought the car. My guess is it weighs about 20lbs and the reservoir
probably weighs another 5lbs so weight is probably around 25lbs.
3. Removed deployed airbags. Driver’s side = 2lbs, Passenger side = 8lbs. Weight = 10lbs.
4. Removed non functioning cruise control parts from engine bay. Weight = 3lbs.
5. Removed A/C Compressor (It was already removed when I bought the car but I weighed it.) Weight = 18lbs.
6. Removed A/C Condensor and support bracket = Weight = 6lbs.
7. Removed Stock Steering wheel = 8lbs and replaced with Momo racing steering wheel 6lbs. Weight saved = 2 lbs.
8. Removed various non functioning A/C piping = 1lbs.
Total permanent weight reduction = 100lbs
TOTAL WEIGHT (TEMPORARY & PERMANENT) REDUCTION= 224 lbs.
