Close up of bar for hood latch, the holes we had to drill for the hood pins because my stock hood latch wouldn’t work due to the apron not being welded in just right and the hole drilled for the hood stand which is only drilled in the support under the hood and not all the way through the hood. Some how we chiped off a part under the hood probably when I was trying to get the stock hood latch to work and pressing down on hard on the hood.

Ok now it’s 02/22/04 - about 4 months later I noticed some chips developing on the front of the hood from what I presume were caused by rocks thrown by trucks and cars :-(
