Replacing the front sway bar is a pretty simple task. No drilling is required and it pretty much just replaces the stock sway bar. The kit I bought was for the front and rear sway bars and included all the new hardware, urethane bushings and synthetic lube that you’ll need to complete the job in less than 1 hr.

The front bars (ST & OEM) are about the same diameter which I think is around 1.1/16 inches or about 29mm. However, the ST bar is much stiffer and is heavier than the OEM bar. I’ll post exact weight soon.

Here’s my OEM front sway bar bushings. After 160K miles they’re looking tired and need replaced. Removal of the swaybar is very simple. Jack up your car, put it on safety stands, unbolt the left and right ends of the bar as shown in the above picture.
