NOTES: 05/10/03 - This test was done on my 1990 Honda Accord EX 4DR Automatic in Sport Mode.
MODS Currently installed for this test:
1. 17” rims with 215/45 tires
2. AEM Cold Air Intake with Water Bypass Valve.
3. Greddy Evolution Catback Exhaust System.
4. DC SPORTS Ceramic Header and down pipe.
5. AEM Tru-Power Alternator Pulley & Power steering Pulley with AEM Belts.
4. Weight Added: Full tank of gas 17 gallons x 6.1 = 103.7 lbs & sub woofers = 20 lbs. 124 lbs total added.
6. Road Location: Confidential, but let’s just say it’s nice and flat and straight with very light traffic! Same Road.
7. Length of road test: 1/4 mile (approximate)
8. Speed of road test: 0 to 65 mph (approximate)
9. I will post 1/4 mile Woodburn or Portland track time results as soon as I go there!
10. Other specifics are on the below charts: A gain of 3 HP was realized with the AEM Pullies.
11. With the above mods my car is now running at 153HP which is 23HP up from stock 130HP. Of course I’ll have to compare HP gains with the real dyno test when I take it in to have it tested soon at a professional dyno shop.
