Replacing the Speed Pulser

It is not to hard to replace the speed pulser but it does take some patience.

You will need the following:
1. A 8 mm socket and ratchet (The smaller the ratchet the better.).
2. A 8 mm wrench.
3. You may need some ratchet extrensions depending on how you want to remove the bolts.

Disclaimer: This is not meant as a complete installation guide. Please refer to a good Honda repair manual such as “Helm”Also, be aware that anytime you work on or under a car it can be very dangerous. Please take the proper safety precautions! Always use proper jack stands. Last, don’t blame me for any installation you do as I’m just an amateur like the rest of you out there, so install at your own risk ;o)

Note: The speed pulser cost around $100 to $160 or more as of 01/10/2003. It is advised to use a new Honda speed pulser. You can purchase it directly from Honda or for less money get them from a Honda parts distributor found by clicking here.
