Above: Remove some of your rubber hangers near the cat to lower the exhaust system down a bit. Just keep removing the rubber hangers until you can get at the nuts on the cat. You can use blocks or whatever to help support the exhaust system. Hint: It’s much easier to remove the rubber hangers from the top hole.
Below: Spray the 3 front and 3 back 14 mm nuts on the stock cat with rust penetrating oil and let sit for at least 30 minutes or so.
