Where the heck is the ECU or A/T Control Unit located anyway?
90 thru 97 Honda Accords - Pull the passenger side carpet back just under the dash.

ECU Unit indicated by arrow to left

No picture yet of the 94-97 5th gen accord ECU but it doesn’t have a light in it like the 90-93 accord ecu so you will have to jump the service connector.

A/T Control Unit indicated by arrow to right

1. Turn on your ignition to the on position but do not start your car.
2. The LED light indicated by the arrow will flash a series of flashes.
(Both lights might be flashing simultaneously if you have engine and transmission errors.)
3. A long flash counts as 10 a short flash counts as 1.
4. There may be about a 2 to 3 second pause between some flashes and this will indicate
that there are several errors. Just take your paper and pen and write down the flashes until they
   start repeating themselves.
5. Now you need to consult the Helm manual or someone to find out what the error codes mean.
Jumping the service connector isn’t necessary for 90-93 Accords but the instructions follow if you want to do that or if you have a later model Accord.

Jumping the Service connector - Where the heck is it and how do I jump it?
For 90 thru 97 Honda Accords - Look up under the dash just to the right of the glove compartment.
For other Honda years and models it might be in the passenger side kick plate area.
