Is your power antenna trying to raise and lower the mast but it is going partially up or down and sounds like the motor is working? Well,
you’re in luck. This is a pretty easy fix.
1. Cost: About $48.00 from a Honda Dealer. You can check at http://www.hparts.com for less.
2. This job takes about 10 to 20 minutes.
2 The above picture shows that you get the nylon geared cable which is attached to a new mast.
3 You
will need a set of needle nosed pliers and a helper to turn the radio on and off in order to activate the power antenna.
4. Using your need nosed pliers turn the antenna mast nut counter-clockwise until it has
been removed.
